Profiles of IAC-CHENNAI INDEFINITE FASTERS
Written by Dr. Bhavana Upadhyaya
Dear fellow citizens of India,
The Patriots return!
Yet again there is an upraisal of the civilians! As glorious as it was in our Freedom struggle!
The second freedom struggle, this time not against the Imperials but against a more powerful demon called corruption, has begun.
Passing the Janlokpal bill is the only demand. Enough is enough! We had seen a lot of corruption and bribery!
Its time that we stand up and say "Stop! We are not fools anymore"
While a 74 year old fasts for your own future, are you going to spend time in petty recreations?
Dont you have the same amount of responsibility & care, that he has for you, on your own self?
When someone is ready to die for you, would you have a problem to just take a leave and live for you?
When you took leave and bunked classes for watching cricket matches, going to cinema and spending time with your friends; are you going to give silly reasons for not helping your motherland when it needs you the most?
August 16 is the final show down, when Anna Hazare starts his Indefinite fast again!
going to behave like a patriot or be a mute spectator and let your motherland rot in corruption?
On Aug 16, 2011 when Anna Hazare starts his Indefinite Fast, Chennai too starts its Indefinite & Relay fast sprearheaded by two of India’s freedom fighters, at
No 153 Surendra developers,L.B. road, Thiruvanmayur,
Chennai 600014 (next to HDFC Bank).
Be there! Let not the motherland suffer when you are there for her.

My dear friend, I reviewed the Government.s Lokpal bill in great detail. I am deeply concerned and not to mention alarmed with what I learned from it. Government has completely ignored the wishes of the common man and made a mockery of our hard fought struggle for strong anti-corruption laws. I have summarized the most troubling aspects of the government version here and suggested possible steps that everyone of you can take to help in this movement.
