I have been following the movement of India Against Corruption since its beginning and I have been one of those citizens who want to fight against corruption at every level. Being a citizen and fighting against corruption has been so difficult considering the fact that it's pretty much prevalent at all levels. However I would proudly say that I have never bribed and have used RTI extensively wherever needed. Though I couldn't take part in the campaign against corruption here at Chennai actively as I used to do with other campaigns but I have supported the campaign with my full solidarity. When Anna Hazare launched his hunger strike during April 4th I did a solidarity fast for 2 days from my workplace and now when the government has denied basic right of citizens by bringing in an act which would protect the bureaucrats and the corrupt people, the whole nation in support with Anna Hazare decides to fast. However, our government is taking measures to arrest Anna and have kept him in jail to practice a basic right, which is Sathyagragh - the struggle which bought us the freedom from British. I show my solidarity by fasting at my workplace for 2 days to support the campaign at Chennai. I will also join the group sometime to show my support as I have to work through the day.
