We at IAC-Chennai observed one day protest fast on March 25th Sunday [25/03/2012] demanding a Strong Whistle Blowers' Protection Act & Demanding justice for the brutally murdered RTI activists .

We didn't let it go after our one day token fast and forgot all about it !

On April 2nd [ 02/02/2012] Monday, 12 of our volunteers visited the murdered RTI activist Bhuvaneshwaran's parents and assured them the moral support from IAC-Chennai. We also promised them to follow the case with Police.

On April 4th Wednesday [04/04/2012], more than 20 brave IAC-Chennai volunteers met Mr. Sureshkumar, Inspector ,V6, Kulathur police station and insisted on filing a strong charge sheet against the murderers of Bhuvsaneshwaran.

Inspector informed us that he already booked 4 of the accused in Gundas act. He also promised us that he will do his best and he will not succumb to any external pressure to dilute the case .

We will continue to monitor the case and fight for justice !
